MONDAY, NOV. 21

Tax Swaps in South Carolina . Dr. Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University , talks with Dr. Holley Ulbrich, alumna professor emerita of economics at Clemson University and a senior fellow in the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs. Ulbrich is co-author of Education Financing in South Carolina: a Citizen’s Guide; Paying for Government in South Carolina: a Citizen’s Guide; and Local Governments and Home Rule in South Carolina: a Citizen's Guide.

A trip to a Charleston spa. Donna London of the Jim Self Center on the Future, learns about the history of the spa experience from Annette Sanford-Lopez of the Charleston Place Spa, voted the Best City Hotel Spa in North America by Travel & Leisure Magazine .

An American holiday. Furman University President David Shi looks back at the history and traditions of our Thanksgiving celebration.

A visit toKensington Mansion. Mary Sherrer, director of the Scarborough-Hamer Foundation, and Carl Dubose, site manager, take Dyana Daniels on a walking tour of Kensington Mansion , a lower Richland County historic site located in Eastover and owned by International Paper.
