At Home, Southern Style TV schedule for week of Dec. 18

CLEMSON -- "At Home, Southern Style," a Clemson University TV program, will air on the South Carolina Educational Television Network for the week of Dec. 18. Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Video Productions Services host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m.

Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-5951 or at the shows website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/ . The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs.

Monday, Dec. 18 ­ Donna Bundrick-Griffin from Walter P. Rawl and Sons, makes Italian Pasta Stir Fry using some great vegetables. Then Bob Polomski, Clemson Extension horticulturist, goes to the Busby Nursery in Anderson and talks with Matti Sue Busby.

Tuesday, Dec. 19 ­ Lisa Wagner, education director for the S.C. Botanical Garden , tales us to her very own kitchen garden. Then Dave Bradshaw, Clemson Extension horticulturist, gives us advice for a Cast Iron Plant.

Wednesday, Dec. 20 ­ Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, shows us all about organic foods. Libby Hoyle, retired Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist, and Sue Hovey, Clemson Extension agent, stirs up a dish using flax.

Thursday, Dec. 21 ­ Kathy Wright, Clemson Extension agent, is at the Anderson Fair talking with Hubert Cox who is very instrumental in the 4-H Shooting Sports Project. Then Candace Cummings, Clemson University wildlife specialist, shows some of her favorite things for wildlife.

Friday, Dec. 22 ­ Bob Schuster, Clemson University special projects, is somewhere -- we think on a river -- with our "Where in the South is Bob Schuster" report. Then Elizabeth Hill, retired Clemson Extension agent, makes a tastey cranberry salad.

At Home, Southern Style may also be seen on The South Carolina Channel.
