Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Video Productions Services host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-5951 or at the shows website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/ . The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, Feb. 6 Retired Clemson University Forestry Professor George Kessler shows what to do with trees that have ice damage after an ice storm. Then Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, explains the importance of Folic Acid in our diet. Tuesday, Feb. 7 Clemson Extension Horticulturist Bob Polomski and Bill Head of Head Lee Nursery, show house plants that will brighten your home with their great color. Then Clemson University Food Science and Human Nutrition Professor Beth Kunkel talks about the importance of children being active. Wednesday, Feb. 8 Host Jeff Bennett and David Howell, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, make tasty sloppy joes. Thursday, Feb. 9 Clemson Extension Agent Elizabeth Hill whips up another easy recipe called “Guda Broccoli Salad”. Then Host Ann Lee McPhail talks about hummingbirds with Candace Cummings, Clemson University wildlife specialist. Friday, Feb. 10 Clemson Extension Agent Rhonda Matthews adds some zip to our meals with her version of the other cole slaw that goes well with everything. Then Tony Caver, state veterinarian, talks about his job and why his department makes it safer in South Carolina . At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The South Carolina Channel.
