Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center hosts the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-5951 or at the shows website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, Jan. 23 Clemson Extension Horticulturist with the Home and Garden Information Center Joey Williamson talks about Cyclemen. Then Melissa Cason and Sergio Nieto, Clemson University food science and human nutrition department, make Mulletes. Tuesday, Jan. 24 Clemson Extension Agent Rhonda Matthews makes Spinach - Pear - Cranberry Salad. Then Clemson Extension Horticulturist Bob Polomski visits the garden of internationally known horticulturist John Elsley in Greenwood . Wednesday, Jan. 25 Jeff Bennett and Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle takes a look at food safety. The topic is "When to keep it and when to toss it." With the constant threat of ice storms and power outages, this is a very important program to watch. Thursday, Jan. 25 David Howell, Clemson University food science and human nutrition department, shows Jeff Bennett how to make easy and delicious spaghetti. Friday, Jan. 26 To get us ready for spring, Clemson Extension Horticulturists David Bradshaw and Mike Watkins demonstrate how they thrash and package seeds for the S.C. Foundation Seed Association. Then, by special request, the re-broadcast of Clemson Extension Agent Elizabeth Hill making herbed tomatoes. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The South Carolina Channel.
