Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-5951 or at the shows website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/ . The questions will be answered on selected Friday programs. Monday, Jan. 30 Getting ready for Valentine's Day. Hosts Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett feature At Home, Southern Style sweethearts -- beginning with Fletcher Derrick in Charleston with his roses and more roses. Derrick is a rose expert and shares his knowledge and gives a tour of his Charleston garden. Tuesday, Jan. 31 Ellie Mae Cromer of Anderson shows Clemson Extension Horticulturist Bob Polomski her back yard garden. Then Dotty Ryan, Southeastern Dairy Council, and Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle discuss school nutrition. Wednesday, Feb. 1 The crew travels to Anderson for a tour of the back yard shade garden of Lynn Finley . Then the crew travels to Charleston to see the Middleton Oak with Horticulturist Sidney Frazier. Thursday, Feb. 2 The show revisits Hosta expert Bill Dalton of Seneca to see how easy these plants are to grow. Then Brandy Cooley of Cooley Brothers Farms and Clemson Extension Agent Kristen Welch make peach ice cream. Friday, Feb. 3 Finishing out the week of At Home, Southern Style sweethearts – Barbara Yon of Ridge Springs shows her garden and Rae McBride of Anderson gives advice on how to divide Iris. At Home, Southern Style can also be seen on The South Carolina Channel. Rae McBride of Anderson shows how to divide Iris; Lynn Finley shows her back yard shade garden; and Ellie May Cromer of Anderson gives a tour of her garden planted around a great oak tree. END
