DATE: 7/24/06 At Home, Southern Style TV schedule for week of July 31 CLEMSON -- "At Home, Southern Style," a Clemson University TV program, will air on the South Carolina Educational Television Network for the week of July 31. Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Video Production Services host the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured on the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the shows website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. The questions will be answered on selected programs Monday, July 31 -- Rae McBride, Master Gardener and Iris expert, talks about Siberian Iris and companion plants. Then Libby Hoyle, Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist, and Karen Leffett, Clemson Extension agent, make Gaspacho. Tuesday, Aug. 1 – Clemson Extension Agent Elizabeth Hill whips up some chicken and rice and then Host Ann Lee McPhail and Clemson Extension Agent Rhonda Matthews make stuffed tomatoes. Wednesday, Aug. 2 -- Valerie Harrison, Clemson University student majoring in food science, shows how to pack a bag lunch. Then, Libby Hoyle, Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist, and her puts together a dish called Edaname. Thursday, Aug. 3 -- Bob Polomski, Clemson Extension horticulturist, visits Wright Nursery and talks to Stewart Chandler about shade plants. Friday, Aug. 4 16 -- Responding to a request, the show will take another look at "Lunch for Diabetics" and learn how to make yogurt. Then Candace Cummings, Clemson Extension associate in the Department of Forest Resources, and Host Ann Lee McPhail discuss concrete yard additions.
