Ann Lee McPhail and Jeff Bennett of the Clemson University Communications Center hosts the program each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. Viewers may ask questions about a subject that was featured n the program by e-mail at athome-L@clemson.edu, by phone at (864) 656-3204 or at the show’s website at: http://AtHome.clemson.edu/. Monday, Oct. 23 Clemson Extension Food and Nutrition Specialist Libby Hoyle and Dotty Ryan, Southeastern Dairy Association, gives pointers on "Cracking the Code to Healthier Kids." Then Hosts Jeff Bennett and Ann Lee McPhail display a bulletin on wreath making that would be good for the holiday season. Tuesday, Oct. 24- Clemson Extension Agent Brian Smith talks with Helen Floyd, owner of La Gree Farms, about warm season grass. Then the crew goes to the Clemson University’s Ag Service Lab and talks with Kathy Moore, Clemson Extension Service, about determining the quality of water. Wednesday, Oct. 25 - We are getting ready for the holiday season as Clemson Extension Agent Elizabeth Hill makes pumpkin muffins. Then Clemson Extension Horticulturist David Bradshaw shows us a hardy plant, the Sansavara. Thursday, Oct. 26 It's Clemson Extension Horticulturist Bob Polomski Day. First Polomski and Bill Head, co-owner of Head Lee Nursery, teach how to use berms in the landscape. Then Polomski talks with Rae McBride, Iris expert, about reblooming Iris. Friday, Oct. 27 Our favorite mother-daughter team makes buried treasure muffins and shows some great kid's cook books....that's mother Katherine Cason, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, and daughter Melissa. Then Lisa Wagner, education director for the S. C. Botanical Garden, and Wendy Farnum, Clemson University volunteer, reassess a garden design.
