The event is free. Clemson Extension, Agribusiness representatives and Martin and Martin Livestock are sponsoring the event. The trade show vendors will sponsor the meal. The educational program will be provided by Clemson Extension and S.C. Livestock Market News. Program topics include preconditioning beef cattle; basic herd health program; basic pasture management; water quality for livestock farms; creep feeds and growth impacts -- are they worth it; and live cattle market assessment. A trade show of various animal health suppliers will be on hand. Call your local Clemson Extension office or Harold Hupp at (864) 656-3162 to make meal reservations. Deadline is April 7. Martin and Martin Livestock Market is located at 1901 Cherokee Rd., Williamston. Cherokee Road is 2.5 miles north at Exit 27 off Interstate I-85. END
