Former Governor Robert McNair recalls civil rights days in South Carolina .Dr. Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University , talks with former Governor Robert McNair, the subject of a new book by Phil Grose of the Institute for Southern Studies at the University of South Carolina, South Carolina at the Brink: Robert McNair and the Politics of Civil Rights.

Rural Childhoods. Dr. Mark Small of the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life at Clemson University speaks with Nicola Taylor, a senior research fellow at the Children’s Issues Centre at the University of Otago in New Zealand, during a recent study group on rural childhood sponsored by Childwatch International and the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life.

An update on Internet browsers. Eric Rodgers talks with Phil Yanov, executive director of the GSA Technology Council and president of Thinkhammer Communications, about the latest from Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Mozilla’s Firefox.

Clowning around. Bob Schuster talks with Susan Lark of Clowns for Christ, a volunteer organization that has fulfilled a niche in Anderson for 30 years by dressing as clowns to visit National Health Care of Anderson and other nursing facilities and hospitals.
