MONDAY, JAN. 9 –- Errors and distorted intelligence leading to the war in Vietnam . Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University , talks with Edwin E. Moise of the Clemson University History Department who has written extensively on the Gulf of Tonkin episode. Moise is the author of an historical dictionary: The A to Z of the Vietnam War .

Fear in Community Life. Gary Melton, director of the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life at Clemson University, talks with Barry Glassner, executive vice provost at the University of Southern California and author of The Culture of Fear: Why Americans are Afraid of the Wrong Things.

Pets in America. Bob McAnally visits the McKissick Museum at the University of South Carolina to tour an exhibit on pets in American culture with its curator Katherine Grier, a former USC history professor.

TUESDAY, JAN. 10 – A live call-in segment on lawn and garden topics. Pee Dee Area Sports Hall of Fame. Bob Schuster travels to Florence to learn about the first athletes from the Pee Dee and Grand Strand area to be inducted into a new Hall of Fame on Saturday, Jan. 14.

Avoiding adult weight gain. Jon Keith talks with Exercise Physiologist Dr. Russ Pate from the Exercise Science Department at the University of South Carolina .

A new and improved Internet browser .  Eric Rodgers discusses the latest version of the Firefox browser by Mozilla with Phil Yanov, executive director of GSA Technology Council and president of Thinkhammer Communications.

The Duet Dinner. L ibby Hoyle, Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist in the Clemson University Department of Packaging Science , visits with Chef Fulvio Valsecchi of Ristorante Divino in Columbia, one of a dozen chefs from across the state who served as mentors to ProStart culinary arts students for an evening of fine dining sponsored by the Hospitality Association of South Carolina.
