MONDAY, MAR.6. Metropolitan areas in South Carolina . Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University , speaks with S.C. State Senator Jim Ritchie of Spartanburg during the recent Legislative Day sponsored by the Municipal Association of South Carolina.

South Carolina Kids Count. Gary Melton, director of the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life, talks with A. Baron Holmes, South Carolina Kids Count Project director, about the latest data on the state’s child population.

Sports-photographer-turned-children’s-author Charles R. Smith. Michelle Martin, a specialist in children’s and young adult literature in the Clemson University English Department, talks with students at Nevitt Forest Elementary School in Anderson during a recent visit by Charles R. Smith, poet and author of I am America and Hoop Kings.
