Your Day radio schedule for week of May 8

CLEMSON -- The following "Your Day" radio programs from Clemson University Radio Productions are scheduled to air on South Carolina ETV Radio for the week of May 8. The program airs from noon to 1 p.m. , Monday through Thursday. Listeners can call in questions during a "live” show by using the toll-free phone number: 1-888-539-8859.

MONDAY, MAY 8

The ETV Road Show – Lowcountry. Your Day is live in downtown Ridgeland, the “heart of the Lowcountry.” We’ll meet town leaders, talk with a specialty caterer, hear about the latest research on the gopher tortoise, and meet SC singer-songwriter Shannon Tanner.
NOTE: Your Day Extra airs at 7 p.m. on ETV Radio.

TUESDAY, MAY 9
The ETV Road Show – Lowcountry.
Your Day is live at the sea island community of Palmetto Bluff near Bluffton. We’ll meet the mayor of Bluffton, explore Lowcountry landscaping, discuss the conservation issues addressed in the development of Palmetto Bluff, and learn more about the wildlife of the area. W EDNESDAY, MAY 10
The ETV Road Show – Lowcountry. Your Day is live in downtown Hampton . We’ll meet town leaders and learn about the significance of w atermelon research and production in the Hampton area. We’ll visit the SC Department of Natural Resources Webb Wildlife Center and a local art restoration company. We’ll enjoy the “newgrass” music of Candlewyck, and meet a popular local radio personality. NOTE: Your Day Extra airs at 7 p.m. on ETV Radio.

THURSDAY, MAY 11

Main Street in Columbia . Donna London of the Jim Self Center on the Future, talks with Tom Prioreschi, president of Capitol Places Inc. about residential development in downtown Columbia .

Mother’s Day weekend at Darlington Raceway. Bob Schuster visits with Cathy Elliott, director of public relations for the Darlington Raceway, to learn what’s planned for the upcoming Diamond Hill Plywood 200 and the Dodge Charger 500, May 12 and 13.

A live call-in segment on the Internet and related technologies.  Eric Rodgers hosts Phil Yanov, director of Business Development at Acentron Technologies, and founder and executive director of the GSA Technology Council.
