MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20

A sea change in Congress.Dr. Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University , looks at the historical precedents and possible implications of the midterm elections with Dr. Adam Warber, a professor in the Clemson University Political Science Department.

Berkeley County Blueways. Bob Schuster talks with Berkeley County Supervisor Jim Rozier about the Blueways, a 175 mile system of kayak and canoe trails.

A live call-in segment on the Internet and related technologies.  Eric Rodgers hosts Internet expert and blogger Phil Yanov, executive director of the GSA Technology Council and president of Thinkhammer Communications. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21
A live call-in hour on insects and other household pests. Charlotte Holt hosts Cam Lay, assistant department head for Pesticide Regulation, and Dr. Eric Benson, Clemson Extension urban entomologist. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 22
Barns, Barbecue & Bales of Cotton. Roy Scott talks with Kirby Player, director of Alumni and Student Services for Clemson University ’s College of Agriculture , Forestry, and Life Sciences, about how South Carolina families can submit photos for a new book on limited-edition book entitled Barns, Barbecue & Bales of Cotton . The pictorial publication will be a rural retrospective of South Carolina agriculture featuring the people, places, and flavors that create lasting memories and foster values. Home for the holidays. We revisit a 2005 conversation on family food traditions and recipes with Libby Hoyle, Clemson Extension food and nutrition specialist in the Clemson University Department of Packaging Sciences, food writer Sandy Woodward, and Union County Extension Agent Sue Hovey.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23
Award-winning municipal projects in Lancaster and Orangeburg. Donna London, drector of the Jim Self Center on the Future,talks with City Administrator Steve Willis of Lancaster about Communities in Schools activities and with Mayor Paul Miller of Orangeburg on this city’s combination of police and fire services into a Department of Public Safety at a recent meeting of the Municipal Association of South Carolina.

Thanksgiving Thoughts. Columnist and Furman University President David Shi recalls the history of this most American of holidays.

Behind the scenes of the baking industry. Abbeville County Extension Aent Rhonda Matthews takes a tour of a Georgia bakery with Mark Van Ostenbridge, director of food protection and safety for BILO-Bruno and George Martin, vice president of operations for Flowers Baking Company in Villa Rica, a subsidiary of Flowers Foods, which produces breads and buns sold under the Nature's Own, Cobblestone Mill, Sunbeam, and Bunny brands.
