MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27

Changes in the South Carolina landscape.Dr. Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University, discusses the future of S.C. forestlands with Mark Robertson, executive director of the SC Chapter of the Nature Conservancy, and Lane Morrison, chairman of the board of the SC Nature Conservancy.

Bob Schuster talks with Danny Roberts, Clemson University researcher and assistant to the vice president for Public Service and Agriculture, about his invention using environmentally friendly fibrous plants such as kenaf, flax and cotton, combined with polylactic acid derived from corn, to create an organic material suitable for bottling pharmaceuticals and other uses.

Remaking American medicine and recent developments at medical education institutions. Jon Keith learns more about innovations in teaching medicine from Dr. Jeffrey Wong, senior associate dean for Medical Education at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston .

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28
A live call-in hour on trees and other growing things. Clemson Extension Horticulturist Bob Polomski travels to ETV-Carolinas in Rock Hill to visit with Clark Beavans, city forester for Rock Hill , and Paul Thompson, York County Extension agent. South Carolina celebrates Arbor Day on the first Friday of December, so we'll talk about the importance of planting trees, urban forestry, and the Trees for Rock Hill program. Securing your wireless Internet access . Eric Rodgers talks with Phil Yanov, director of Business Development at Acentron Technologies, and founder and executive director of the GSA Technology Council about securing your own high-speed Internet access network.

Hurricanes in South Carolina history. As the 2006 hurricane season draws to a close, Dale Linvill talks with Walter J. Fraser, author of Lowcountry Hurricanes: Three Centuries of Storms at Sea and Ashore.
