The South Carolina Encyclopedia. Glenn Hare talks with Randy Akers, executive director of the SC Humanities Council, about a new reference book containing 1,970 entries on “all things South Carolina ,” edited by Walter Edgar and published by the University of South Carolina Press.

The Karl Denson Trio. Roy Scott talks with jazz artist Karl Denson about his music career and his trio KD3 prior to their Sept. 16 performance at Chazz Fest, the Charleston Music and Heritage Festival on Daniel Island .
