The following events are scheduled at the T. Ed Garrison Livestock Arena at Clemson University in upcoming weeks. The arena is currently accepting bookings for 2007. Fall Classic Academy Horse Show

Description:

Horse show with emphasis on classes for academy, jr. exhibitor and amateur riders. The Clemson Fall Classic Horse Show is operated in accordance with traditional Saddlebred, Hackney and Roadster horse show rules and is affiliated with the American Saddlebred Associations of the Carolinas. Stalls are $60 each. Night Camper fees are $25/night; Bag Shavings are $6/bag. Host hotel is Ramada Inn of Clemson, 1315 Tiger Blvd. , Clemson, SC. Cut off date to receive special group rate is Thursday Oct. 18, 2007. Important: A current 12 month negative Coggins test is required for every horse and will be checked upon entering the grounds. Description:

Top cowboys and cowgirls compete in barrel racing, calf roping, steer wrestling, and bull riding. There will also be additional entertainment with trick riding by the Thornton ’s and the National IPRA Queen will make an appearance. Mike Wendt will be the rodeo clown. Tickets will go on sale Nov. 3 at the following ticket outlets - Rogers Stereo in Anderson and Greenville; Flat Rock Farm in Liberty on Hwy 178; Rabbit Box in Central on Hwy 93; Bergens in downtown Seneca; Cowboy Express on Woodruff Rd in Greenville. Clemson students can receive a discount at the Student Hendrix Center by showing ID; Pendleton Tri-County Technical students may receive a discount at their college bookstore with student ID. All general admission seats are first come first served--nothing numbered. You may bring a stadium seat or a blanket to sit on. Reserved seats are numbered by row, section and seat. Actually have a seat to sit in like a theater-type seat. Vendors will be on hand with merchandise. Full menu concessions available at moderate prices. Description:

Farmers, landscapers, cattleman, horseman and others - this is the Expo for you. There is something for every operation. Vendors from all over the Southeast will display goods and equipment for lawn care, to the operation of large pastures and crops. Livestock and pet care will also be included. There will also be seminars on farm management, which will be announced at a later date. Live entertainment each afternoon. More details will become available in the near future. The Garrison Arena is a first class indoor facility with many amenities including a wonderful menu of food items and drinks.  864-656-5161
