At Home, Southern Style TV schedule for week of June 4

CLEMSON -- "At Home, Southern Style," a Clemson University TV program, airs on South Carolina ETV. Produced by Clemson's Video Production Services, the program is broadcast statewide each week, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 to 6:45 a.m. This is the program content for the week of June 4.

Monday, June 4 -- Laurie Lawson, Clemson University assistant to the vice president for agriculture, talks about some exciting things that are going on at the Pee Dee Research and Education Center. Then Bob Polomski, Clemson Extension urban horticulturist, takes a tour of the private garden of John Elsley, nationally known horticulturist.

Tuesday, June 5 -­ Joey Williamson, Clemson’s Home and Garden Information Center, tours the English Garden at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Clemson. Then George Kessler, retired Clemson forestry professor, explains a tree protection zone.

Wednesday, June 6 -- Donna Bundrick-Griffin of Rawle and Sons Farms makes a heavenly seven layer salad. Then David Bradshaw, retired Clemson Extension horticulturist, shows us a great Beauty Berry and explains how to prune a Butterfly bush.

Thursday, June 7 -- Rhonda Matthews, Clemson Extension agent, cooks baked fish. Then Joey Williamson, Clemson’s Home and Garden Information Center, takes a look at Tea Olives. This is in response to a viewer's questions.

Friday, June 8-­ Carolyn Jebaily, with the Pee Dee Research and Education Center, talks about the Outdoor Education Trail. This trail is a great addition to the REC -- educational and fun. Then Beth Kunkel concludes her week long visit by answering viewer’s questions about good and bad foods, the meaning of organic foods and how to deal with over weight kids.
