And why should you avoid them? Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, explains. Then we go on a garden visit to Barbara Yon's home in Saluda. Wednesday, Nov. 7 -- Clemson Extension Agent Rhonda Matthews makes an asparagus marinade, then whips up excellent eggs. Thursday, Nov. 8-- Sue Hovey, Clemson Extension agent, does a fantastic stir fry-- Jicama. Then visit Bill Dalton's garden to see his Hosta collection. Dalton is a Hosta expert and shares his secrets. Friday, Nov. 8 - "Where in the South is Bob Schuster"? He is literally in deep water with this report about the Spirit of S.C.
