Tuesday, Oct. 2 - We are delighted to introduce Karen Blackmon who is with our department and will be the web master for At Home Southern Style. Carolyn Boltin with DHEC talks with Bob Schuster about Coastal issues. Then Ann Lee McPhail and Candace Cummings, Clemson University urban wildlife specialist, look at the damage beavers can do. Wednesday, Oct. 3 - Rudy Manke, naturalist and educator, talks with Bob Schuster about the importance of the Sandhill Research Area and its wildlife. Then Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, explains Type II Diabetes. Thursday, Oct. 4 - Gene Eidson, Clemson University restoration ecologist, talks about water quality issues facing our state. Then Bob Polomski, Clemson Extension horticulturist, visits the home of Lynn Finley of Anderson to look at garden borders. Friday, Oct. 5 - We continue our "Along the Trail with Expeditions" series with show host, Patrick McMillan. Then Bob Polomski, Clemson Extension horticulturist, visits the home garden of John Elsley, a nationally known horticulturist. At Home Southern Style may also be seen on the Carolina Channel.
