Ann Lee McPhail and Bob Schuster host the program. Monday, Sept. 24 -The theme for this week is "Most Requested Segments". Our first is cucumber and pineapple salsa with Rhonda Matthews, Clemson Extension agent. Next we have mango and black bean salsa with our mother-daughter team, Katherine and Melissa Cason. Katherine is a professor with Clemson University food science and human nutrition department.. Then we throw in super tea with Rhonda Matthews, Clemson Extension agent, because we like it. Tuesday, Sept. 25 -Our most requested recipe of all times it apple walnut cake. Elizabeth Hill, retired Clemson Extension agent, is the creator. Then Donna Bundrick-Griffin with Walter P. Rawl and Sons, makes collards with color. Wednesday, Sept. 26-- Everyone loves our garden visits. So, we go back to see Clemson alumni Fletcher Derrick in his Charleston rose garden. Then we look at a favorite small tree, fringe tree, with David Bradshaw, retired Clemson Extension horticulturist, who is always a favorite. Thursday, Sept. 27 -Many of you wanted to make yogurt. So, Beth Kunkel, Clemson University food science and human nutrition professor, give us the recipe for home made yogurt. Then, Elizabeth Hill, retired Clemson Extension agent, whips up a cranberry vinaigrette salad that many of you requested. Then we throw in holly ferns with David Bradshaw, retired Clemson horticulturist. Friday, Sept. 28 -The other cole slaw was a popular item. Rhonda Matthews, Clemson Extension agent, is the creator of this. Many of you had a canning melt down. Not to worry. So did most of us. So we are running canning with Sue Hovey, Clemson Extension agent, with hopes that you will take notes for next year. At Home, Southern Style may also be seen on the Carolina Channel. Topics this week include: Cucumber Pineapple Salsa, Mango-black Bean Salsa, Super Tea, Apple Walnut Cake and Collards with Color. END
