Sept. 28, ‘Friends of the Garden’ Preview Plant Sale will run from 2:30 – 6 p.m. New members may join at the gate. Sept. 29, the public plant sale will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free. “Fall is peak planting season,” said Christine Drais, public relations director for the garden. “I would like to invite everyone to come and support the garden.” South Carolina Botanical Garden staff, volunteers and Master Gardeners of the Foothills members will be on hand to help with plant selection and garden design ideas. The sale is located at the South Carolina Botanical Garden Operations Area at the corner of Highway 76 and Perimeter Road in Clemson.
