Clemson Connections to the Middle East . Dr. Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University, talks with Dr. Jim Miller of the Clemson University Geography Department, former director of CEMAT, the overseas research center of the American Institute for Maghrib Studies located in Tunisia .

The Greatest Showman on Earth. Roy Scott talks with Jeff Smith, professor of history at Lindenwood University in St. Charles , Missouri , who portrays P.T. Barnum in the upcoming Winter Chautauqua to be held on Feb. 3 at Wade Hampton High School in Greenville .

Children of other cultures. Dr. Michelle Martin, a specialist in children’s and young adult literature in Clemson University’s English Department, is joined by Clemson graduate student Lauen Rizzuto to discuss the graphic novel Persepolus: the Story of a Childhood by Marjane Satrapi and other books about children from other countries.
