MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2007
Government and environmental public policy issues . Dr. Bob Becker, director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University, talks with Fred L. Smith, founder and president of the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), a public interest group dedicated to free enterprise and limited government.

Coastal development in South Carolina . Bob Schuster speaks with Senator Scott Richardson of Beaufort County at a recent meeting of the Legislative Coastal Caucus held at the Baruch Institute for Coastal Ecology and Forest Science.

Quilting the Sun. Dr. Michelle Martin of the Clemson University English Department talks with author, poet and playwright Grace Cavalieri about the inspiration for her play Quilting the Sun which premiered Feb. 22 and continues through March 10 at Centre Stage in Greenville .

Mother Jones. Columnist and Furman University President David Shi recalls the life of Mary Harris Jones, an American Labor activist and champion of the working poor.

A live call-in hour on gardening topics. Naturalist Lisa Wagner, Director of Education for the SC Botanical Garden is joined by Horticulturist and Assistant Garden Manager Sherry Aultman.
