A-maze-ing

Want to go a-maze-ing? Nearly 3,000 visitors to Clemson
University’s Pee Dee Research and Education Center near
Florence have already made their way through the 2004 Corn
Maze designed by GPS specialist Sue Robinson and Jim
Frederick, Clemson research and Extension agronomist. The maze
features an ear of corn and a tiger paw. Displays and posters
give information on crops grown in South Carolina and research
done at the center. Contact June Barbour at (843)662-3526
(ext. 263) to arrange for a tour. The maze can be self-guided,
but visitors will need either a county agent or a Pee Dee REC
employee to accompany them.
