Chris Marsh of the Low Country Institute points out features on a southern toad to Mary Humphrey during a Master Naturalist class at the Savannah River Ecology Lab in Aiken County. The toad was later released unharmed.

Tony Mills of the Savannah River Ecology Lab in Aiken County shows the Beaufort Master Naturalist class a specimen of the South Carolina State Amphibian, the spotted salamander. The salamander was released later without being harmed.
