Feed and Forage--Harvesting

ROTATIONAL CROP RESTRICTIONS FOR CORN HERBICIDES

The drought of 1993 has destroyed most of our corn crop, and growers may want to replant some corn acreage to other crops for supplemental grazing or hay. However, many corn herbicides persist in the soil, and may damage subsequent crops or result in the presence of illegal pesticide residues. The crops most likely to be considered for supplemental forage and hay are soybeans and small grains. Rotation restrictions for corn herbicides and these crops are presented in the table below. Please consult the product labels for more detailed information.
