Teaching
Dr. Rosopa tries to create a learning environment that stimulates critical thinking. To accomplish this, he uses a variety of teaching approaches. In addition to lectures, he uses small-group discussions, one-minute papers, and he uses a variety of relevant examples to keep students engaged. For some courses, he is able to incorporate his version of “Jeopardy” as a class activity (occasionally having small groups compete against one another for extra points). For example, in his Organizational Psychology classes, he discusses methods and statistics in organizational research and one of his “Jeopardy” categories is titled “Got Data?” (Note that this should not be confused with the familiar milk advertisement.)
Dr. Rosopa has taught a number of undergraduate- and graduate-level courses. Below is a list of courses that he has taught (or will be teaching this year).
