The Clemson University student chapter of the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society was presented with a Gold Chapter award at this year’s 56th Annual Meeting in Boston. In order to be considered a gold chapter, we must excel in at least five out of 12 activity categories, which include: Recruitment, guest speakers, field trips, outreach/volunteerism, collaboration, service to HFES, exploration, social, information dissemination, mentorship, continuous improvement, and creativity.
