Friends of Sandhill

Clemson University and the Clemson Institute for Economic and Community Development are proud to provide public access to the pristine environment that is Sandhill.  We hope you enjoy the natural beauty, native plants, wildlife and open savannahs that comprise the campus.  Maintaining and preserving such a setting in the midst of ever increasing development is both a privilege and a challenge.  The continuing impact placed on budgets coupled with rising costs mandates that our efforts be creative and fiscally responsible.

Your help in maintaining and protecting Sandhill is vitally important.  We encourage you to enjoy all the campus has to offer and urge you to remain respectful and a good steward of the surroundings.  Report any urgent concerns you encounter to our Property Manager, Joe Hudson, at 803-414-4127.  Non critical issues and suggestions to make our campus more viable can be emailed to the Sandhill.

A new opportunity available to Sanhill supporters is the Sandhill Web Guild.  The benefits listed on the right are provided to all Sandhill Web Guild Members.  To join the guild, print and complete the downloadable form and mail to the provided address along with your check for $125.00.  The guild benefits value far exceed the one-time cost of membership.  The initial 25 members will be placed in a drawing for a free Lake House one day event lease.  The next 25 in a drawing for the opportunity to fish the private lakes on the Sandhill campus (6 people maximum).  Each of the next 3 groups of 50 will have their names placed into drawings for an autographed Clemson football, an autographed Clemson basketball and an autographed Clemson baseball.
