Food for Thought Garden
The Food for Thought Garden helps teach visitors, especially children, about the process of growing fruit, vegetables, herbs and roots for food. Rows of plantings showcase the beauty and diversity of kitchen gardening. Children in the Sprouting Wings program and other visiting education programs use the garden to learn about farming, nutrition and healthy eating.
The Food for Thought Garden is located by the Sprouting Wings Greenhouse, below the Hayden Conference Center. It will soon be part of the Children's Garden (in development).
