Photos are an important aspect of promoting a department's faculty, staff and students in publications and other media.

Photo Services’ staff of two photographers and a media resource specialist is here to help obtain the best visuals possible.

Please fill out our request form for services. Please note:

  • WE WILL CONFIRM YOUR REQUEST WITHIN 24 HOURS.
  • For weekly office hours photo shoots, we require a 48-hour advance notice.
  • For after-hours and weekend, we require 2-weeks advance notice.
  • If event is changed or canceled, please notify us as soon as possible.
  • Because of limited staff, not all photo requests can be covered. In the event the CU photo staff cannot accommodate, a list of freelance photographers will be provided.
If you need to cancel a request or make a change to your original request, please fill out our change order form.


Photo Charges

For EACH photographer and assignment:

  • Equipment Replacement Overhead Fee — $3.50
  • Digital photography (per hour) — $12.50
  • After Hours Rate for photographer — $42.50 (after 4:30 p.m. or weekends)
  • CD Burn — $3
