| Abstract: |
Disclosed are devices and
methods for targeted delivery of therapeutic agents. The devices
include selectively permeable hollow fiber membranes which allow
for the outward diffusion of therapeutic agents while the contents
of the device are protected from host humoral and cellular immunologic
attack. The methods include implanting the devices in areas of
the body, particularly the ears and/or eyes.
