Abstract:

A modular system for a chin strap assembly for use with protective head wear, such as combat and flight helmets. Increased flexibility of fit is provided by having multiple attachment and adjustable loci. This feature is particularly useful in applications where the user must accommodate auxiliary system attachments, such as communications gear.
