Clemson University is highly competitive in seeking funding for research from a variety of public and private sources. In Fiscal Year 2008, University researchers surpassed $150 million in sponsored research.
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) supports faculty, staff and students in their pursuit of funding for research and scholarly activity, creative activity, instruction and public service while ensuring compliance with federal, university and private-sponsor regulations, terms and conditions. OSP staff facilitate the administrative review and approval process of proposals, contracts and other agreements.
The OSP staff is available to answer questions, review and negotiate contracts and otherwise assist researchers with all aspects of funding support and has worked diligently to streamline the sponsored research system by making as much information as possible available online.
