Grants.gov — Use Adobe Reader 8.1.3 Only

Grants.gov retired all PureEdge proposal packages effective Thursday, March 5, 2009.  All proposals submitted to Grants.gov will now use Adobe form packages. Adobe will release the latest version of their Adobe Reader software version 9.1 on March 11, 2009. Adobe has also scheduled the release of version 8.1.4 on March 18, 2009.

Although Grants.gov allows three versions of Adobe for submissions, all Clemson users should be using Adobe Reader 8.1.3 to download, view, and/or enter data in Grants.gov proposal packages until further notice. This version allows less errors upon submission than 9.0 or 8.1.2.

Please do not upgrade to other versions of Adobe Reader if you plan to download, open, and/or enter data in a Grants.gov proposal package. If you have already downloaded a newer version, please delete that version and download version 8.1.3.
