Call for 2009/2010 University Research Grant (URGC) Proposal:
The Vice President for Research & Economic Development and the University Research Grant Committee has announced a call for proposals for the "2009/2010 University Research Grant (URGC), 09/10 URGC:"
Internal proposals must be submitted through Clemson's Limited Submission (CLS) web application program by 11:59 p.m. October 30, 2009.
The purpose of the University Research Grant is to stimulate tenure and tenure-track faculty research initiatives and further this research so that it can be funded extramurally. New faculty (3 years or less at Clemson) and faculty making mid-career changes in research areas with tenure or tenure-track status are eligible to apply. Faculty that received a URGC grant within the last two years are not eligible. A total of $70,000 is available to fund 2009/2010 URGC awards.
URGC proposals are limited to a two-page proposal with specific sub-headings, a completed and signed Proposal Processing Form with Internal Budget, and a separate detailed budget with justification. Please read the Call for 2009/2010 URGC proposals for details.
