Most federal and many non-profit agencies utilize electronic proposal submission procedures. Electronic proposal submission follows the same procedures as paper submissions with the following exceptions:
Principal investigators at Clemson University are not authorized to submit proposals. One complete hard copy of the entire proposal packet and Clemson University Proposal Processing Form must be routed and signed by appropriate campus authorizing officials including, but not limited to, the Chair, Dean, Director, Office of Sponsored Programs, and the Vice President for Research & Economic Development, denoting prior approval in ample time before the external electronic submission deadline.
