The Office of Sponsored Programs has added a modification to the Proposal Processing Form (PPF) in order to accommodate recent changes to federal regulations. Most notable is the addition of a question to determine whether proposals/projects are funded under the terms of the recently passed American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The federal government requires that ARRA funds be tracked, monitored and reported separately from non-ARRA funding. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in disallowance of costs or even termination of the award by the federal agency.
In order to implement this ARRA requirement, it is mandatory that the following question be addressed for every proposal on page two (2) of the PPF:
Additionally, the following questions, which are not new, must also be completed for each proposal in order to improve proposal processing and provide information necessary to improve OSP customer service (page 2 of the PPF):
