Naming Opportunities & Endowments ~ |
||
| Niche Gardens ~ | ||
| These specialty gardens are living exhibits of various types of landscapes that thrive in this area. They are often used for outdoor classrooms during our many educational programs and utilized by many Clemson University departments as outdoor laboratories. | ||
| Special Collections & Areas ~ | ||
| Collections such as rhododendrons, camellias, maples, hydrangeas, dogwoods and magnolias offer enthusiasts the opportunity to see plants at different stages of growth. | ||
| Structures ~ | ||
| Buildings and facilities are gathering places for people to learn about the world of nature. They are shelters, learning places, meeting places and retreat centers. | ||
| Program Gifts (Endowments) ~ |
||
| Endowments support the mission of the SCBG by providing the financial basis for educational programs, staffing, and the ongoing operational costs associated with a particular garden area or facility. | ||
| Education Center ~ | ||
| The addition of a center dedicated to education is of utmost importance. This facility will offer additional space for displays, classrooms, meeting spaces, library, performance area, and historical information about the Garden. | ||
| Heritage Gardens ~ | ||
| The Garden's history is directly linked to the history of Clemson University and the rich stories of agriculture development in the Upstate. Development of these areas includes basic amenities for visitors at the entrance of the Garden. | ||
