Fall Fossil Adventure!

September 14th & 15th
Saturday 12:30p.m. - Sunday evening

Join the Bob Campbell Geology Museum Curators for a weekend of ancient discovery in Berkeley County, SC. Collect Eocene (40 million year old) fossils from a limestone quarry. You may find snails, clams, oysters, shark teeth, sand dollars, sea urchins, and more!
Fee: $99 double occupancy / $125 single occupancy (includes travel, hotel, lectures & lunch on Sunday. Children 10 - 17 are welcome with a responsible adult.

Bluegrass & BBQ! ~

10th Anniversary Celebration

Kick up your heals with local bluegrass music from the Grass Roots Revue. Celebrate the South Carolina Botanical Garden's 10th Anniversary of being designated the State botanical garden. BBQ catered by Just More BBQ of Pendleton.

Chris Rosser returns to the Garden for an encore performance. Join us at the Amphitheater for a fun evening of folk music and entertainment.

Old-fashioned southern favorites & heirloom plants

From vegetables to flowers, many old-fashioned favorites have experienced renewed interest as newcomers and old-timers alike have discovered their charm, toughness, and easy-care nature. Staff member Lisa Wagner will share her knowledge of the history, growing requirements, and attributes of these great plants in an illustrated presentation.
