The Fran Hanson Discovery Center...

Pick up a garden map, a cold drink or a garden souvenier at the Garden Gift Shop located inside the Discovery Cener. The Fran Hanson Discovery Center (FHDC) has a Nature Discovery Room with microscopes, resource books on insects and plants, and exhibits on the origins of plants and foods- a great stop for school groups!
The staff at the FHDC will help you get started on your adventure through our 295 acres of woodlands, streams, paths, niche gardens and the Campbell Geology Museum.
Upstairs you'll find Art Galleries with paintings by Elizabeth Belser Fuller and rotating exhibits by local artists. These exhibits change throughout the year and most artists offer workshops during their exhibit period as well. Be sure to check our calendar of events for more information. The FHDC is also a popular wedding destination. Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. The elevator makes the building totally accessible for all of our guests.
