Campus Farmer's Market

The Calhoun Field Laboratory Farmer's Market provides a fresh array of campus-grown vegetables, cut flowers and culinary herbs. This produce is grown at the Calhoun Field Laboratory (CFL), located less than 2 miles from the market. At this time, approximately 5 acres of the CFL have been certified organic and are dedicated to intensive production of high-value seasonal produce.

By providing freshly-harvested seasonal vegetables, culinary herbs and cut flowers, the CFL Farmer's Market can ensure that you receive the very best quality and flavor as well as nutritious and satisfying products. The market is run primarily by students, and they are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Details of market location, times and produce availability, are provided below.

MARKET UPDATE
A current listing of produce available from the Calhoun Field Laboratory is provided weekly via this web page and our e-mail list. Individuals who would like to receive the list via e-mail or who want to place an order should send an e-mail to cfl@clemson.edu. Orders need to be placed by 6 PM on Mondays to allow time for filling the order before the 11 AM - 1 PM pick-up on Wednesdays. There is no minimal order, and requests are processed in the order they are received based on availability. Order pickup is at the Calhoun Field Learning Laboratory.

Beginning June 22, 2006, students will also be selling the Calhoun Field Laboratory produce at the Pendleton Farmers' Market, which is located on the Village Green next to the Farmers Hall Restaurant on S. Mechanic Street in Pendleton, SC. The Pendleton Farmers' Market will be open from 4 PM to 6:30 PM on Thursdays through September 2006.

Finally, Calhoun Field Laboratory produce will soon be available at the 55 Exchange which is located in room 109 of the Hendrix Student Center at Clemson University.
