Mission:

We will equip young people with the ability to reach their fullest potential through the development and dissemination of research-based experiences that include the family, respect the community, and are built upon new and existing partnerships.

Goals:

  • The 4-H program will be recognized as a leader in youth development within the university and across the State.
  • The 4-H program will lead in guiding and disseminating youth-focused research that will benefit the citizens of the State.
  • The 4-H program will operate and manage a flexible program delivery system that is respectful of family and community life.
  • The 4-H program will develop, and/or identify, curricula that meet the changing circumstances of today’s youth.
  • The 4-H program will identify, develop and maintain new and existing partnerships, both internal and external.
  • The 4-H program will communicate the value of 4-H to internal and external markets.
  • The 4-H program will build and support a strong human, and non-human, resource base.
