Tenure-Track Organic Faculty Position At Clemson University

The Department of Chemistry at Clemson University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the broadly defined area of organic chemistry. Candidates with research interests in synthetic organic, physical organic, bio-organic, synthetic materials chemistry, or related fields, are encouraged to apply. Candidates must possess a PhD degree in Chemistry or related field, and will be expected to both teach organic chemistry courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and vigorously pursue extramural research funds with which to support a developing research program.

The position is expected to be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 15, 2019. Postdoctoral Position in Computational Chemistry at Clemson University

The Department of Chemistry at Clemson University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in computational biophysical chemistry working with professor Brian Dominy. Research will focus on the physical driving forces underlying the evolution of biocatalysis, utilizing classical and quantum mechanical modeling techniques as well as information-theory based analyses of sequence and physical data. Collaborations with experimentalists are expected. The position is available starting in February 2018 or later, and is renewable upon mutual agreement for a total length of two years.
