Ingersoll Rand Fellowship Opportunity
Portsmouth, NH
Ingersoll Rand Energy Systems will focus in 2009 on improving the value and features of its 250 kW microturbine product line. This will include projects related to qualifying new hardware and systems, improving the reliability and durability of various microturbine configurations, addressing new application requirements, or improving the performance of the microturbine. The UTSR Fellowship intern selected will interface with the gas turbine engineers, production engineers, laboratory technicians, and component vendors in the execution of these projects. Knowledge of gas turbines, either through classroom instruction or research is preferred. Laboratory experience is desired, as it will be necessary for intern to participate hands-on in the laboratory and the production floor.
