UTSR On-Going Projects

In the first quarter of each year (usually at the end of February), the South Carolina Institute for Energy Studies (SCIES) issues a Request For Proposal to solicit responses that will support the DOE goals in the areas of turbines and turbine industry needs.

Upon receipt of these proposals, SCIES coordinates a review process in which the UTSR Industrial Review Board rates and recommends to DOE the projects for award. The NETL/DOE makes the final award decision. Listed below are the active research projects for the UTSR Program. Follow links to view specific details for each project.
