GOAL 1
Provision of immediate emergency
economic assistance to SC shrimpers.
- Objective
1
To develop and
implement a plan for immediate emergency assistance relief to South Carolina
shrimp vessel and dock owners.
GOAL
2
Creation of a sustainable shrimp industry in
South Carolina and the South Atlantic region
- Objective 2
To develop a comprehensive long-term risk management program
to include personal assistance and small business assistance.
- Objective 3
To inventory shrimp industry assets to provide a basis for further
action.
- Objective 4
To develop a long-term marketing plan and program for wild-harvested
shrimp focusing on domestic product marketing and promotion.
- Objective 5
To develop governmental and institutional support to include state
seafood testing programs.
- Objective 6
To support and develop infrastructure.
- Objective 7
To develop an industry quality assurance program.
