Café Cultura, developed by Strong Communities and located at the Center for Community Services in Simpsonville, is a multi-service center providing supports that are culturally and linguistically relevant to the Latino community. The Café offers cultural activities and social events that provide opportunities to connect with others in the community with a goal of developing ongoing supportive relationships.

Ballet Folklorico of Greenville entertained with classic dances from Mexico and Colombia at a multicultural celebration held in October at Café Cultura. Approximately 100 people took part in the festive occasion, enjoying food, crafts, and games, in addition to the dance performance. PhD students in IFNL’s International Family and Community Studies program, graduate student interns, and community volunteers assisted with the event.
