Ann Oliver Cothran
Community Outreach Worker - Strong Communities
Working in the Pelzer-Piedmont area, Ann Oliver Cothran (BA, University of Washington-Seattle) is a community outreach worker with the Strong Communities initiative. She has extensive experience as a volunteer on behalf of children and families in Anderson County.
She is a co-founded of the faith-based, non-denominational service organization named “The Mustard Seed.” She is a co-founder and the contact for the Upstate Coalition of Compassion, which works to find medical sponsorships for children injured in the war in Iraq. Ms. Cothran was nominated for the Service to the Child award given by the Anderson County United Way for her work with homeless children.
