Champions for Children

Community groups and organizations received the first Strong Communities "Champions for Children" Awards in March of 2003. Many awards to groups and organizations have continued to follow. These awards recognize churches, civic groups, schools, businesses and government/municipal groups in southern Greenville County and surrounding communities that demonstrate a commitment to supporting children and families; take an active role in keeping children safe; and help to strengthen their communities. The recipients are as follows with the date of their award.
